I saw the movie nearly 50 years ago and was trying to find it but couldn't. Came across this book and really enjoyed it. It is a true historical romance novel. I purchased what happened to be a first edition and it is now on display in my library.

My high school teacher does it again, well researched and good as stories garnered from men I grew up knowing...Ray Hunt (Ghani) Oshlih, and John Holiday...

My only critique would be why he has no mention of the great medicine men and principal headline and figures that made up the settling and stories behind the history of the territory he writes about.

Where is Hashkenaneii, Spane Shank, Hataliih Hozhonih, Kayellih, Hasteen Altsis'eh', Ashii'ih' A'dil'loh'ih'...

He borrows and returns to repeating stories from Oshlhi and John Holiday, of which only one is a medicine man and the other a hand trembled diagnostic practitioner.

When I first read this book, I couldn't put it down. It was definitely a page-turner. The book has many plots going on.

There were times when I cried and other times when I felt very angry about the injustice and discrimination Amina and the other characters faced in the story.

The book raises awareness on fraud, child abuse and discrimination against women.

One of the things I learned from this book was the importance of education and how it can affect our society.

The Baby Project was an Awesome book! I felt very bad for what happened to Whitney but I'm glad that she moved on and has Darius and Gino, who seems absolutely adorable! This book seems to have the power to give you emotions just like the character's, and has very good writing. I loved this book and intend to read the other 2 in the series, I think Susan Meier is a great author and can't wait to read more of her books!

Susan's Meier's books are a joy. Her writing is exemplary, she takes a reader on a emotional roller-coaster of a journey. I bought three of her books, not having read her before, I will definitely be buying more. She doesn't disappoint.

Meier brought a fresh view to a romantic classic of two people coming together to help a baby find a loving, peaceful, warm, and permanent home. Luckily, the caregivers might just find the same.

Key for Marriage

At first i was disappointed b/c the book it's small in size and not at all what i expected. However, powerful things can come in small packages. The nuggets and wisdom in this "small" book have been gems in my life. I am putting into practice many things that i've read in the book. I'm excited for our marriage b/c of the changes i'm making after reading this book.
